We had a noon meeting the next day in Kigali, but we were in Fort Portal, Uganda. The woman who sold us the 6:00 a.m. bus tickets said it was only a six-hour ride to the Uganda/Rwanda border. No problem.

Part of the reason I like political comedians, like Jon Stewart or Bill Maher, is because they often use humor to expose truths.

Garbage is a problem that has plagued India for longer than most people have been alive.
Gandhi addressed it in his day, noting Indian’s penchant for keeping their houses immaculate yet caring little for anything outside of their doors. And this was 50 years before plastic.
