Surely there are plenty of neoconservatives who will just dismiss this claim as ranting from the second act of the Axis of Evil.

And small c conservatives too.

"Of course, the two Iranian officials quoted in the brief story didn’t offer any evidence – merely that the attack was “at the behest of the United States and its allies.”"

Riiiiiiiiight, because the US has sooooooo much power and influence in friggin Balochistan, bwaaaaa haaa haa hahaaa haa hahaa

I've read Robert Baer's work, he's totally obsessed with Iran because that's who funded all the shit in Lebanon and Baer lost friends there. My favorite was Sleeping With The Devil, which is about Saudi Arabia.

I don't think he would have turned to Hollywood or books sales if he was still in the CIA loop, do you?

The wars in the region are for corporate America to get pipelines in there and access natural gas to sell to India. They are doing nothing for most of the American people, except bankrupting our great great grandchildren, and inadvertently strengthening Iran's position in the region. Read everything you can find by Pepe Escobar. He knows a lot about "Pipelineistan."
